Customer Types

docs101 supports two customer types:

  • B2B (Business): For business-to-business transactions, including VAT ID tracking and reverse charge support.
  • B2C (Consumer): For direct sales to consumers and private buyers.

Both types can be managed side by side in your customer database, each with appropriate fields and behaviors.

Customer Statuses

Every customer in docs101 has a status that helps you organize and filter your customer base:

  • Lead: Prospective customers not yet confirmed.
  • Active: Current, ongoing business relationships.
  • Inactive: Former customers or relationships on hold.
