AI Actions
AI actions are consumed whenever docs101 uses artificial intelligence to automatically extract data from files you upload. Each AI-powered extraction counts as one action against your monthly quota.
Which Features Use AI Actions?

| Customer import from image | Visual AI extracts customer data from a photo or screenshot of a business card, letterhead, or invoice (PNG) |
| Customer import from CSV/Excel | AI maps your column headers to the correct fields, even when they don't match the default naming |
| Company setup assistant | During onboarding, AI extracts your company name, address, tax ID, and bank details from a document you upload |
Each upload counts as one action, regardless of how much data is extracted. A CSV with 200 rows costs the same as a single business card photo.

Actions reset at the beginning of each billing period — the same cycle as your invoice limit. Unused actions do not carry over to the next period.

When Your Quota Is Used Up
You can still import customers and set up your company — the AI-powered buttons simply show a notice that the quota is exhausted and when it resets. Manual data entry remains fully available.
Free plan users see an upgrade prompt pointing to the Professional plan.
Can I Purchase Additional AI Actions?
No. AI actions are included in your plan and cannot be purchased separately, unlike invoice credits. If you regularly need more than 5 actions per month, the Professional plan with 100 actions is the right choice.
Invoice credits extend a core action you perform constantly (finalizing invoices), so buying extra makes sense. AI extraction is an occasional convenience — the right fit is almost always choosing the plan that matches your typical import volume.
